Teepee & Pilgrim hats Done!

 I finished the Ice Cream Cone Teepee's to go along with my Pilgrim Hats.  The recipe can be found HERE.

Both these treats were super easy and if it weren't for them going to other people, I would easily have been able to let the kids help out but I am a little bit of a germ-phobe when it comes to the kids helping out in the kitchen.  I might let them make their own sneezed on drooled on finger licked versions later, but these germ free ones are going to Cody's Fall Festival party at school today.  Hopefully they will make it there safely :) Once there, they can be sneezed on drooled and finger licked but not on my watch!

Thanksgiving Pilgrim Hat Treats

LOVE being able to search online to find cute easy to make class treats like these super simple Marshmallow Pilgrim Hats.  I also love that I sent my oldest son to look in the cereal isle to find something to use for the buckles instead of icing and he managed not only to avoid coming back with something ridiculous like Lucky Charms,(although that Leprechaun wears a similar hat, I would understand his thinking if that was his choice) but actually came back with something that was just perfect...Cracklin'Oat Bran.  It was a proud Mama moment I had there in Isle 5 of Hannaford's  :) Here is all you need...

I have 4 kids, so I can put a photo of each on the outside and a little blurb about their year on the inside!  How cool is that!
